HONEYSUCKLE HIDEAWAY

A truly special place

  • This 19th century converted barn features exposed beamed ceilings and many original features.  The lovingly created interior features a double bedroom with bath, shower room with wc,  large kitchen/dining room/lounge (with 49" smart TV with Netflix and an Amazon Echo (Alexa), and a sun room/porch with adjoining verandah.

  •

  • The sleeping arrangements are a master bedroom and a double daybed in the dining area.

  •

  • The oak kitchen has a full cooker, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, together with the usual kitchen ancilliaries and Portmeiron china,

  •

  • Should you wish, you may eat al fresco in the private courtyard or on the rear covered balcony  The deck is roofed and has a woodburner for use all year round and overlooks the glorious Devon countryside and fishing pond. Of a summer’s evening, is there anything better with convivial company, than watching the sun go down while enjoying good food and a glass or two.    And in the cooler months the rear balcony is snug with a woodburner (fuel supplied for your first fire, further supplies available from us).

Fantastic cottage in lovely surroundings.  Lots of little extras make it welcoming, would highly recommend for a peaceful break.

We really did strike gold finding this place and will definitely return.

Warm, welcoming accommodation and the deer welcomed us on the first morning.  Perfect.
