Experiences
If you are looking for fun-filled, action-packed family days out in Devon… you need look no further than DIGGERLAND Operate and drive full sized machinery including diggers, tractors, and dumpers.

QUADWORLD is an all-terrain off road fun experience. Great fun for all the family on quad bikes!

Donkey Sanctuary
THE DONKEY SANCTUARY gives lifelong care to over 6000 donkeys and mules around the UK and Europe. Based in Sidmouth, Devon it is open year round. There is also an excellent restaurant which, when we last visited, served the biggest sandwiches we've ever seen (plus many other delicious morsels).
Properties of interest
.The Eateries
As the cottages have fully fitted kitchens, you can obviously turn your hand to your own culinary delights where you can enjoy eating al fresco in the quiet Devon countryside. Both cottages have outside eating areas, but when the weather is unhelpful there is plenty of room inside.
Should you want to eat out, as usual in Devon there are many pubs and eateries, here are just a few in the local vicinity. In order of closeness to us, are:

The Blacksmith Arms (Plymtree)
The Merry Harriers(Westcott)
Keeper's Cottage (near Kentisbeare)
Wyndham Arms (Kentisbeare)

There are numerous pubs in Cullompton itself, three miles away. Other places worth mentioning to eat are The Bakehouse in Cullompton, The Lime Tree in Cullompton, Otter Nurseries (near Ottery St Mary), and Joshua's (opposite Otter Nurseries).

No doubt you will find others, which will become your favourites.
Killerton House (6 miles)
Cadhay House (8miles)
Bicton Gardens (16 miles)
Knightshayes Gardens (17miles)
Buckland Abbey
Castle Drogo
Devon Beaches
Our favourite is Branscombe, quiet, not usually crowded and famous for the container shipwreck a few years back. But others on the south coast are
Beer
Sidmouth
Budleigh Salterton
Exmouth
Seaton
Salcombe

On the north coast are:

Saunton Sands (our favourite)
Croyde
Rock
Puttsborough
Woolacombe
Westward Ho!
